Marshall found pickleball in 2023 and hasn’t looked back.
Since picking up a paddle, he’s quickly become a regular face at Pickle Kit — hosting sessions, coaching Beginner players, and diving deep into the game behind the scenes. A self-proclaimed pickleball nerd, Marshall loves everything from paddle tech through to tactics, patterns, and the theory behind smart match play.
That passion naturally led him to become the analyst behind Pickle Kit’s Match Play Video Analysis service. Through this, Marshall reviews real match footage to break down positioning, shot selection, and decision-making — helping players better understand how they play and where they can improve. Before pickleball, Marshall had a strong sporting background in Aussie Rules football, leading the U18 Sunraysia Football League goal kicking in his final season before heading into military service. That competitive edge and game awareness now carry through into his approach on the pickleball court.
